If you want to choose PP luggage (Polypropylene) over other materials, it would primarily be for the following reasons:
Lightweight & Practical for Travel
Polypropylene luggage tends to be lighter than many other materials, like polycarbonate or aluminum. This makes it easier to carry, especially when you’re traveling for long periods or dealing with multiple connections at airports. For me, weight is a crucial factor because I don’t want to be burdened with a heavy bag, especially when I need to move around a lot.
Durability with Flexibility
I like how polypropylene offers a mix of toughness and flexibility. It’s a resilient material that can handle a lot of wear and tear, but it’s also flexible enough to resist cracking under pressure. Given that travel can sometimes involve rough handling, I would appreciate knowing my luggage can bounce back from minor impacts and still perform well.
Affordability
As much as I value durability, I also want something that’s reasonably priced. PP luggage is generally more budget-friendly than polycarbonate or aluminum, but still provides a solid level of protection for my belongings. I’d prefer to invest in something durable without having to break the bank.
Scratch Resistance
I tend to be a bit OCD about my Polypropylene luggage looking good. PP luggage often comes with a matte finish, which helps hide scratches and scuffs better than shiny finishes like those on polycarbonate. This would mean my suitcase would continue to look clean and fresh for a longer time, even if it’s not brand-new. Temperature Resistance I’ve traveled in hot climates, and polypropylene does a great job at withstanding heat without warping or getting damaged. For me, having luggage that can hold up in extreme conditions is important, especially if I know I might be in sunny or tropical destinations.
In short, PP luggage balances everything I’d want in a practical and functional suitcase: lightweight, durable, affordable, and with a good ability to withstand the challenges of travel. It’s an all-around good choice for frequent travelers who want reliable performance without spending too much.
Inside the Factory: From Raw Materials to Your Custom Suitcase Take a look at how each suitcase is made — step by step.
Step 1: Premium Raw Materials We start with high-grade PC, ABS, and recycled RPET — all tested in real time to ensure quality and consistency.
Step 2: Plastic Sheet Extrusion Plastic pellets are melted and extruded into large sheets, forming the base for every suitcase shell.
Step 3: Forming the Shell The sheets are heated and vacuum-formed into strong, impact-resistant suitcase shells using advanced molds.
Step 4: CNC Mold Precision Aluminum molds created by CNC machines guarantee uniform shapes and fast cooling during forming.
Step 5: Smart Cutting & Drilling High-precision machines cut and drill each shell to fit wheels, handles, and locks — with minimal waste.
Step 6: Injection-Molded Accessories Components like wheels and handles are made via injection molding. We also use 3D printing for prototyping. Step 7: Final Assembly All parts come together on the assembly line — finished with zippers, linings, and telescopic handles. Step 8: Inspection & Packaging Each suitcase is inspected for quality, then carefully packaged and shipped to our global clients.
